When it’s finished, you’ll now have Smooth Stone. Now, put the Stone back into the Furnace and let it ‘cook’ again. Once this has finished ‘cooking’ once, you’ll have Stone. To craft Smooth Stone, you need to put Cobblestone in your Furnace. Simply put the Iron Ore block into the furnace with some fuel like coal or wood at the bottom to smelt it down. Smelting down the Iron Ore blocks into Iron Ingots requires a Furnace. These can also be found by simply digging down a little bit and looking out for that silver glisten in blocks. Iron Ingots will require you to find Iron Ore blocks. All you need for this is eight Cobblestone, which can be found by simply digging for a little bit. The first thing you’re going to need to do is to craft yourself a normal Furnace if you don’t already have one. You need the following materials to craft it: The Blast Furnace isn’t all that difficult to craft. Minecraft’s Blast Furnace is something you’re going to want to build fairly early on, as it opens up a whole new world of crafting goodness.
